GEOHAB2010 CONFERENCE - IVS3D -ESRI Workshop
The use and benefits of the integrated application of Fledermaus and ArcGIS in Habitat Mapping
IVS 3D and ESRI invite participants attending the GeoHab 2010 conference to a workshop illustrating the use and benefits of interpreting and managing habitat data within the environment offered by the recent integration of Fledermaus and ArcGIS. The workshop will be presented by Lindsay Gee and Douglas Bergersen from IVS3D, Robin Smith from ESRI. They will provide an overview of tools available for habitat mapping, details of integration of the applications, and a case example from the NIWA Cook Strait Data set. Further case examples will be provided by guest speakers Jens Greinert from Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, Arne Pallentin from National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research and Scott Nichol from Geoscience Australia.
